Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (Uterus Removal)

Laparoscopic hysterectomy is the minimally invasive surgery to remove the uterus. A small incision is made in the belly and a small camera is inserted. The surgeon looks at the image on a television screen from this camera and performs the surgery.
